Baked Warrigal Green Leaf Chips

5 med-lge Warrigal Green leaves

Macadamia oil

Natural Lake salt and ground Native Pepper berries to taste.

Pre-heat oven at 150C.

Rinse and dry leaves thoroughly.

Coat thoroughly on both sides with Macadamia oil. Spread over a sheet of baking paper laid on an oven tray, ensuring that the leaves don’t touch. Season to taste

Bake for 15 minutes, then turn pans around and/or turn leaves. Bake for 5-10 minutes more, or until crispy and lightly golden brown.

Watch closely as it burns easily. Remove from oven and let cool slightly – chips will crisp up a little more once out of the oven.

Use immediately. (Can be stored for a short period in an airtight container.)
